Calcium-dependent secretion activator 2 (CADPS2) regulates calcium-triggered exocytosis in neurons and neuroendocrine cells, and this quantitative immunoassay kit from Assay Genie enables measurement of endogenous CADPS2 protein in human research specimens for neuroscience, secretory pathway, and psychiatric genetics investigations. The assay supports studies of synaptic vesicle dynamics, neurotransmitter release mechanisms, and genetic association analyses where CADPS2 variants have been examined as candidate susceptibility loci for psychiatric conditions.

Supplied as a complete research-use-only kit in a 96 Assays format, the package includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant protein standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, chromogenic substrate solution, wash buffer, and assay diluent. The assay is configured for quantification of CADPS2 in human-derived samples including serum fractions, plasma fractions, cerebrospinal fluid, and cell culture supernatants obtained from relevant research models, accommodating workflows in cell culture and tissue-based neuroscience projects.

Reagents are supplied refrigerated for cold-chain transit; store unopened components at 4 °C until first use, and aliquot reconstituted reagents for freezing to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve immunoreactivity over the kit shelf life. Substrate-based absorbance readout integrates readily with standard microplate reader workflows commonly used in academic and clinical research laboratories.
