Beyond the quantitative envelope described above, the Assay Genie CADM1 immunoassay targets the extracellular region of the chromosome 11q23.3-encoded immunoglobulin superfamily member 4 (IGSF4A / NECL2 / BL2 / ST17 / RA175 / sTSLC-1, UniProt Q9BY67, gene CADM1). Lot-specific calibration against recombinant human CADM1 supports tumor-suppressor studies in lung adenocarcinoma, nasopharyngeal and hepatocellular carcinoma, alongside NK-cell and cytotoxic T-cell immunology work where CADM1–CRTAM engagement at the immune synapse is under investigation. Reported spike-and-recovery for recombinant CADM1 ranges from 80 to 102% in serum, 81 to 100% in EDTA plasma, and 80 to 89% in heparin plasma, with dilution linearity demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. Precision: intra-assay CV less than 10%, inter-assay CV less than 12%, each assessed on three sample pools across three plates. Capture-plate strips, standards and detector antibody should be refrigerated until first use; reconstituted standards, biotinylated detection reagent and streptavidin-HRP conjugate should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 degrees C to limit freeze-thaw cycles, with full sensitivity, range and CV values documented on the lot-specific certificate of analysis that ships with the kit.
