Human Cadherin-7 (CDH7) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Cadherin-7 (CDH7), also known by the synonym CDH7L1. The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Cadherin-7. Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.12ng/ml, an intra-assay CV of 5.2%, and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%.

Linear dilution performance has been assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. Cadherin-7 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein that preferentially interacts with itself in a homophilic manner, contributing to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. It is located at the cell membrane as a single-pass type I membrane protein, with the human ortholog mapped to chromosomal location 18q22.1. The product is intended for research use only.
