Human Cadherin-3 (CDH3) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Cadherin-3 (CDH3), also known as P-cadherin or placental cadherin. It is intended for the precise measurement of Cadherin-3 in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection system and has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL. Reported precision values are 4.6% intra-assay CV and 7.8% inter-assay CV. The kit is reactive with natural and recombinant human Cadherin-3 and has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery reported for serum and plasma samples.

Cadherin-3 is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein that mediates homophilic cell-cell adhesion and is implicated in tissue development, cell migration, proliferation and differentiation. Dysregulation of Cadherin-3 has been associated with cancers including breast, prostate and cervical, making it a biomarker of research interest. The kit is for research use only.
