Human Cadherin-11 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0403)

The Cadherin-11 target, also known as OB-cadherin, is a type II classical cadherin expressed on mesenchymal-derived cells including osteoblasts, synovial fibroblasts, and certain metastatic tumour populations. Researchers use this Assay Genie kit to quantify soluble Cadherin-11 in conditioned media from fibroblast or osteoblast cultures, as well as matched donor plasma for studies of bone homeostasis, rheumatoid arthritis synovitis, and breast or prostate cancer invasion.

Each kit contains a pre-coated strip microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and calibrated standards producing an eight-point standard curve. Reagents are supplied ready to use after equilibration to room temperature; store the sealed kit refrigerated between uses and protect the streptavidin-HRP from light. Allow all components to reach room temperature before pipetting and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of the standard and conjugate vials.

A typical run requires 100 uL of standard or diluted sample per well, with cell culture supernatant samples loaded neat or diluted in the provided assay buffer. The procedure is compatible with standard automated plate washers and readers, supporting high-throughput biomarker screening in translational research laboratories.
