Human CA3/Carbonic anhydrase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of human carbonic anhydrase 3 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and reports a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL across an assay range of 3.125–200 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Carbonic anhydrase 3 is a cytoplasmic zinc metalloenzyme belonging to the alpha-carbonic anhydrase family. It catalyses the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide, contributing to acid-base balance, bicarbonate transport, and the cellular response to oxidative stress (UniProt P07451). The kit supports cell biology research, with reported dysregulation of CA3 linked to metabolic disorders, renal disease, neurological conditions, osteoporosis, and glaucoma.
