Human CA2 (Carbonic Anhydrase 2) ELISA Kit

The assay provides a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a measuring range of 3.125-200 ng/mL. The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.

Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with serum recovery ranging from 88-104% (average 96%), EDTA plasma from 88-102% (average 94%), and heparin plasma from 87-104% (average 95%). Carbonic Anhydrase 2 is implicated in pH regulation, bone resorption, and respiration, with abnormal levels associated with osteoporosis, glaucoma, and metabolic disorders, making the kit a valuable tool for studying this biomarker.
