Human CA1/Carbonic Anhydrase I ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of human carbonic anhydrase I (CA1), this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format is developed with a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity testing across serial dilutions gave ranges of 90–104% for serum (n=5), 82–101% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80–95% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery testing yielded average recoveries of 97% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma, and 100% in heparin plasma. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
