Human C4 (gamma chain) ELISA Kit (HUFI04595)

The Complement component 4 (C4) gamma chain is a small fragment generated during activation and processing of the parent C4 protein within the complement cascade, a central branch of the innate immune response. This quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie measures human C4 gamma chain to support research into complement activation, immune complex formation, and complement-deficiency disorders.

The kit provides materials for 96 individual assays in a microplate configuration using matched antibody pairs with an enzyme-based readout. It is intended for research use only and is suited to work with serum or plasma-derived samples collected during clinical and translational studies of autoimmune conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and hereditary C4 deficiency.
