Human C3d (Complement Fragment 3d) ELISA Kit (HUES03450)

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the detection of Human C3d (Complement Fragment 3d) in human serum, blood, plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The stated sensitivity is 4.69 ng/mL, with a detection range of 7.81-500 ng/mL. This product is intended for research use only.

The Assay Genie plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human C3d. Standards or samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an avidin-HRP conjugate, and unbound components are washed away. Substrate is then added and the reaction is terminated with stop solution, changing the colour from blue to yellow. Optical density is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 2 nm, and sample concentration is calculated by comparing the optical density with the standard curve.

Kit components include a dismountable microplate, reference standard, concentrated biotinylated detection antibody, concentrated HRP conjugate, sample and antibody diluents, concentrated wash buffer, substrate reagent, stop solution, plate sealer and product description. An unopened kit can be stored at 4°C for 1 month; if the kit is not used within that period, the components should be stored separately according to the vial labels.
