Human C1QTNF9/C1q and Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Protein 9 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a double-antibody sandwich immunoassay with colorimetric detection, intended for the quantitative measurement of human C1QTNF9 (C1q and Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Protein 9). The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (88–103%, average 93%), EDTA plasma (87–105%, average 92%) and heparin plasma (91–102%, average 96%). Linearity for the same matrices at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 88–101% / 82–98% / 80–98% for serum, 82–88% / 82–100% / 81–100% for EDTA plasma, and 90–98% / 82–98% / 86–98% for heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C and remains stable for 12 months under those conditions.

The workflow consists of an antigen-binding incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, a biotinylated detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate incubation in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after the stop solution is added. C1QTNF9 has been linked to inflammation, metabolism and cardiovascular health, with abnormal levels associated with obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disorders, making the kit suitable for biomarker and pathogenesis research.
