Human C1QTNF2/C1q and Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human C1QTNF2 (C1q and Tumor Necrosis Factor-Related Protein 2, also known as CTRP2). The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Using a double-antibody sandwich format, the assay has a stated sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. The protocol uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reported recovery values are 85–102% for serum (average 91%), 92–105% for EDTA plasma (average 98%), and 90–102% for heparin plasma (average 96%). C1QTNF2 has been described as a regulator of glucose and lipid metabolism, inflammation, and insulin signaling, with dysregulation linked to metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disease, and inflammatory conditions.

Kit components include a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, 100X biotin-labelled antibody, 100X HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
