Human C1QTNF12/C1q and Tumor Necrosis Factor Related Protein 12 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human C1QTNF12, also referred to as CTRP12, Adipolin, FAM132A, C1QDC2, or C1q domain containing 2, a member of the C1q/TNF-related protein family implicated in metabolism, inflammation, and cardiovascular function. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum spans 82–98%, in EDTA plasma 82–101%, and in heparin plasma 83–104%. Recovery averages 98% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma, and 95% in heparin plasma. Components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, with the microplate and lyophilised standard also suitable for 12 months at −20°C.
