Human C1qG/Complement C1q subcomponent subunit C ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human C1qG (Complement C1q subcomponent subunit C). It is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich detection method. Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. C1qG is described as a key component of the complement system with a critical role in immune response and inflammation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and inflammatory conditions.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Storage is at 2–8°C for 12 months. Reported linearity in serum (n=5) is 90–104% at 1:2, 91–100% at 1:4, and 80–95% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n=5) it is 87–105%, 82–96%, and 82–100%; and in heparin plasma (n=5) it is 88–102%, 84–101%, and 80–99%. Recovery averages are 97% for serum (range 91–102%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 85–103%), and 92% for heparin plasma (range 85–99%).

The assay workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate, performing a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, incubating with a biotin-labeled detection antibody at 37°C for 60 minutes, adding HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) at 37°C for 30 minutes, developing colour with TMB substrate for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
