Human C1q R1/CD93 ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human C1q R1/CD93 (Complement component C1q receptor) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target, with detection via a biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin, and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader. The kit is shipped on ice packs, components are stored at 2–8 °C, and the product is intended for research use only.

The reported assay range is 0.313–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Linearity and recovery have been validated for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples and incubating at 37 °C, adding biotin-labelled detection antibody, adding HRP-Streptavidin, developing with TMB substrate in the dark, and reading absorbance at 450 nm after the addition of stop solution. A Bradford Reagent is included for total protein quantification to support sample normalization. C1qR1/CD93 is described as a protein involved in inflammation, immune response, immune regulation, cell adhesion, and angiogenesis, and abnormal levels have been associated with autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and cancer.
