Human C-X-C chemokine receptor type 1 (CXCR1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human C-X-C chemokine receptor type 1 (CXCR1), also known as IL-8 receptor type 1 and CD181, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant human CXCR1 with a reported detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.045 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is stated as 4.9% and inter-assay CV as 7.2%.

CXCR1 is a G-protein-coupled receptor for interleukin-8, a powerful neutrophil chemotactic factor, and is localised at the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein. The receptor mediates activation of neutrophils through a G-protein-coupled signalling pathway. The kit is supplied for research use only.
