Human C-Type Natriuretic Peptide (CNP) ELISA Kit

CNP (C-type natriuretic peptide) is a 22-amino acid vasoactive peptide produced by vascular endothelial cells, chondrocytes, and central nervous system tissue, where it binds the natriuretic peptide receptor B (NPR-B) to modulate vascular tone, inhibit smooth muscle proliferation, and drive endochondral ossification during long-bone growth. Two endogenous molecular forms, CNP-22 (the mature 22-residue peptide) and the extended pro-hormone fragment CNP-53, can both be resolved in circulation.
