Human C-type mannose receptor 2 (MRC2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human C-type mannose receptor 2 (MRC2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, reactivity is human, and the kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant MRC2.

Validated performance includes a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity has been verified in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, with recovery ranging from 101–113% in serum (average 107%) and 103–115% in plasma (average 109%). MRC2 is a member of the mannose receptor family involved in endocytosis, collagen turnover and immune response modulation, with dysregulation linked to fibrosis, cancer and inflammatory disorders.
