Human C-C motif chemokine 7 (CCL7) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human C-C motif chemokine 7 (CCL7) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant human CCL7 and is intended for research use only within the immunology research area.

CCL7, also referred to as monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP-3), is a secreted C-C chemokine that acts as a chemotactic factor for monocytes and eosinophils, augments monocyte anti-tumor activity, and induces the release of gelatinase B. The chemokine is involved in immune cell recruitment and inflammation regulation, and is studied in the context of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and asthma.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL, sensitivity of 1.1pg/mL, intra-assay CV of 4.5%, and inter-assay CV of 8.0%. Linearity is reported as 88-114% in serum, 92-120% in EDTA plasma, and 82-117% in heparin plasma across serial dilutions. Mean recovery is 100% (94-106%) in serum and 102% (96-108%) in plasma.
