Human C-C motif chemokine 3 (CCL3) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human C-C motif chemokine 3 (CCL3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CCL3, also referred to as macrophage inflammatory protein 1-alpha (MIP-1-alpha) and small-inducible cytokine A3, is a secreted monokine with inflammatory and chemokinetic properties that participates in immune response regulation, inflammation and cell migration.

According to the manufacturer, the colorimetric assay targets natural and recombinant human CCL3 with a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8pg/mL. Reported precision includes an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Recovery data list an average of 100% (range 94-106%) for serum and an average of 102% (range 96-108%) for plasma.

CCL3 binds to the receptors CCR1, CCR4 and CCR5 and is one of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ T-cells (UniProt P10147). The kit is for research use only and supports immunology studies into autoimmune diseases, inflammatory disorders and infectious diseases.
