Human C-C motif chemokine 28 (CCL28) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of human C-C motif chemokine 28 (CCL28) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. CCL28, also known as mucosae-associated epithelial chemokine (MEC), is a chemokine protein involved in immune response regulation and mucosal immunity, displaying chemotactic activity for resting CD4 and CD8 T-cells and eosinophils and binding to CCR3 and CCR10.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 34pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.7%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with recovery averaging 80% (range 80-85%) in serum and 81% (range 80-87%) in plasma. Absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human CCL28 and is supplied for research use only, supporting immunology research including studies of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
