Human C-C motif chemokine 19 (CCL19) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human C-C motif chemokine 19 (CCL19) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and detects natural and recombinant CCL19.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 3.9% and inter-assay CV is 7.6%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges from 89-99% at a 1:2 dilution to 105-115% at 1:16; in EDTA plasma from 108-117% at 1:2 to 90-99% at 1:16; and in heparin plasma from 100-100% at 1:2 to 93-102% at 1:16. Average recovery is 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma.

CCL19 is a secreted chemokine (UniProt Q99731) involved in inflammatory and immunological responses, normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing, and the trafficking of T-cells in thymus and migration of T-cells and B-cells to secondary lymphoid organs. It binds to chemokine receptor CCR7 and shows potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes and monocytes. For research use only.
