Human C-C motif chemokine 18 (CCL18) ELISA Kit

CCL18 is a chemokine that helps regulate immune responses and inflammation and has been implicated in conditions such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and rheumatoid arthritis, making it a valuable biomarker for studying disease pathology and therapeutic development. The assay reports a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.077 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 5.3% and inter-assay CV of 10.8%. Reported recovery averages 103% (range 97–109%) for serum and 105% (range 99–111%) for plasma, with linearity data across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human CCL18 (UniProt P55774), a secreted protein of the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family located at chromosomal position 17q12, with a reported molecular weight of 9,849 Da.
