Description

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA supports quantitative measurement of human C-C chemokine receptor type 7 (CCR7) in serum and plasma samples, with a colorimetric detection readout. The kit is built for accurate quantification of CCR7 in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants, providing high sensitivity and specificity for reproducible results across research applications.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 4.4% and inter-assay CV at 8.5%. Recovery in serum averages 87% (range 81-93%) and in plasma averages 89% (range 83-95%). Linearity ranges across dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 are: serum 95-106%, 109-118%, 95-105%, 86-96%; EDTA plasma 88-88%, 107-119%, 107-117%, 114-124%; and heparin plasma 105-114%, 100-111%, 101-111%, 96-108% (all N=5). The assay detects natural and recombinant human C-C chemokine receptor type 7 and is intended for immunology research.

CCR7 acts as a receptor for the MIP-3-beta chemokine and is a probable mediator of EBV effects on B-lymphocytes, with a role in immune cell trafficking, inflammation, and lymphocyte homing. The protein is located in the cell membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein (UniProt P32248). Listed synonyms include BLR2, CDw197, EBI1, CD197, C-C CKR-7, CMKBR7, EVI1, and Epstein-Barr virus-induced G-protein coupled receptor 1. The product is for research use only.
