Human C-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CCR4) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human C-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CCR4) in human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human CCR4 and is intended for research use only.

Quoted performance figures include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 3.9% and inter-assay CV as 7.3%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with serum recovery averaging 96% (range 90-102%) and plasma recovery averaging 98% (range 92-104%).

CCR4 is described as a high affinity receptor for the C-C type chemokines CCL17/TARC, CCL22/MDC and CKLF isoform 1/CKLF1, signalling through G(i) proteins to activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The protein is a multi-pass membrane protein located at the cell membrane (UniProt P51679).
