Human C-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human C-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2). It is intended for research use only, supporting studies in immunology related to inflammatory response and immune cell recruitment. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids.

The kit has a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.3% and inter-assay CV is 10.9%. Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery has been reported for serum (average 97%, range 91–103%) and plasma (average 99%, range 93–105%) samples. The assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant human CCR2 (UniProt P41597).

CCR2 is a seven-transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor that functions as a receptor for the CCL2, CCL7, and CCL13 chemokines, transducing signals by increasing intracellular calcium ion levels. Dysregulation of CCR2 has been implicated in autoimmune disorders, inflammatory conditions, and cancer, making this kit a useful tool for research into disease progression and potential therapeutic targets.
