The Assay Genie BTRC ELISA kit supports quantitative measurement of β-TrCP1 (F-box/WD repeat-containing protein 1A), the substrate-recognition subunit of the SCF E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. β-TrCP1 binds phosphodegron (DpSGXXpS) motifs on substrates such as IκBα, β-catenin, CDC25A, and EMI1, linking the assay to studies of NF-κB signaling, Wnt/β-catenin pathway regulation, mitotic progression, and proteasomal protein turnover. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity with the paralog FBXW11 (β-TrCP2), enabling selective quantification of β-TrCP1 in research samples. Reconstituted standards and detection reagent should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw loss. In vitro research use only.
