BIN2 (Bridging Integrator 2) is a BAR-domain adapter protein involved in actin cytoskeleton remodeling and membrane tubulation, with prominent expression in hematopoietic lineages including B lymphocytes and macrophages. This in vitro quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie is calibrated to detect human BIN2 in cell lysates, tissue homogenates, and clarified culture supernatants. The kit is supplied as a 96-test strip-plate configuration with pre-coated capture strips, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer concentrate, and a lyophilized recombinant human BIN2 standard sufficient for an eight-point calibration curve. Recommended workflow uses a modest sample volume per well with absorbance read on a standard microplate reader after acid stop. Components are shipped cold and should be refrigerated upon receipt; the reconstituted standard is best aliquoted and stored frozen to preserve activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Applications include profiling BIN2 expression in leukemia and lymphoma cell models, characterizing B-cell receptor pathway activity, and measuring cytoskeletal adapter dynamics under cytokine or chemokine stimulation in immune-cell research.
