Human Bradykinin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Bradykinin ELISA Kit is a Competitive ELISA, with antigen-coated wells, intended for the precise measurement of bradykinin levels in human biological samples. The colorimetric assay reacts specifically with human bradykinin and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Bradykinin is a key mediator in inflammatory processes, vasodilation, and pain sensation, and elevated levels have been implicated in conditions such as hypertension, sepsis, and inflammatory disorders, making the molecule a biomarker of interest in related research.

The assay has a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a working range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. Kit components are stored sealed at 2-8°C and must not be cryopreserved. Linearity testing (n=10) returned dilution recoveries at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 of 92-100%, 89-103% and 90-104% respectively for serum; 82-100%, 87-99% and 87-101% for EDTA plasma; and 84-98%, 80-92% and 81-95% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average recoveries of 94% for serum (range 87-102%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 94-101%) and 99% for heparin plasma (range 94-103%).
