Human Bone morphogenetic protein 15 (BMP15) ELISA Kit

The colorimetric format is intended for accurate detection of BMP15 in research settings.

Quoted performance figures include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.034ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.7% and inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Linearity in serum (N=5) ranges 93-105% at 1:2, 108-117% at 1:4, 98-108% at 1:8 and 105-115% at 1:16. EDTA plasma (N=5) shows 86-94%, 102-112%, 105-117% and 106-114% across the same dilutions. Heparin plasma (N=5) reports 99-108%, 107-117%, 107-118% and 92-92%. Recovery averages 96% (90-102%) in serum and 98% (92-104%) in plasma. The kit recognises natural and recombinant human BMP15.

BMP15 belongs to the TGF-beta superfamily and acts as a secreted, oocyte-specific growth/differentiation factor that stimulates folliculogenesis and granulosa cell growth (Uniprot O95972).
