Glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored ectoenzymes of the ADP-ribosyl cyclase family, structurally related to CD38, are increasingly studied in autoimmune and neurodegenerative disease contexts, and this Assay Genie ELISA Kit is configured for quantitative measurement of Bone Marrow Stromal Cell Antigen 1 (BST1/CD157) in human research specimens. BST1 is expressed on bone marrow stromal cells, granulocytes, monocytes, B-cell precursors, and synovial fibroblasts, and has been investigated for its role in pre-B-cell growth regulation, NAD+ metabolism in myeloid lineages, rheumatoid arthritis synovial pathology, and Parkinson's disease susceptibility, where BST1 single-nucleotide polymorphisms have been associated with increased disease risk in genome-wide association studies.

The kit is supplied as a 96-assay configuration containing a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, stop solution, and reference standard vials. Reagents should be refrigerated on arrival, equilibrated to room temperature before each run, and used within the stated shelf life to preserve antibody binding activity. A standard curve generated in parallel with samples allows interpolation of BST1 concentrations from a colorimetric readout at the appropriate wavelength for the TMB reaction.

Configured for in-vitro research applications, the kit supports immune-cell phenotyping studies, NAD+-pathway investigations, autoimmune biomarker screening in matched human cohorts, and Parkinson's disease association research. Each plate includes dedicated control wells to verify run-to-run consistency, and the format suits laboratory workflows using cultured cell lysates, peripheral blood mononuclear cell preparations, and other human-derived sample types under institutional research-use protocols.
