Human BNP/Brain Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

This sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of human BNP (Brain Natriuretic Peptide) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein, and detection uses a biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated Streptavidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity was validated in serum (80-100% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (82-105%), and heparin plasma (83-102%). Mean recovery is 98% in serum (range 90-99%), 92% in EDTA plasma (range 87-105%), and 97% in heparin plasma (range 95-105%).
