Human BMP7 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Bone Morphogenetic Protein 7 (BMP7) in human samples. The kit uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich detection method and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measurable range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions. The procedure follows a six-step protocol: plate and reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.

BMP7 is associated with bone and cartilage development, as well as the regulation of cell growth and differentiation. The kit is intended for cell biology research, including studies of tissue regeneration, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and other degenerative conditions.
