The Human BLVRB PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of biliverdin reductase B, a NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase central to heme catabolism and flavin reduction pathways. This enzyme converts biliverdin IXβ to bilirubin IXβ and contributes to cellular redox balance, making it a target of interest in research on hepatic heme clearance, neonatal bilirubin metabolism, oxidative stress responses, and inflammatory signaling.
