Human Bile salt export pump (ABCB11) ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie as a Colorimetric Sandwich ELISA for human research samples, this kit targets the Bile salt export pump (ABCB11), also referred to as ATP-binding cassette sub-family B member 11 or BSEP — a membrane multi-pass protein involved in the ATP-dependent secretion of bile salts into the canaliculus of hepatocytes. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Bile salt export pump. It is intended for research use only and supports cardiovascular research applications.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000pg/ml and a sensitivity of 40pg/mL. Precision is reported with an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity has been characterised across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma matrices.
