The Assay Genie Human bFGF PharmaGenie ELISA Kit quantifies basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF-2), a heparin-binding mitogen implicated in angiogenesis, wound repair, and tumor progression research. Built on a two-antibody ELISA format, the assay uses a monoclonal capture antibody pre-coated onto a microplate, paired with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. Each well requires 100 µL of sample or standard, and the standard curve is generated from a seven-point serial dilution. The kit is shipped refrigerated; unopened components should be stored at 4°C and used before the expiration printed on the vial label. Reconstituted standards and working-strength detection antibody are kept frozen in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
