Human Betacellulin ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, designed for the quantitative measurement of betacellulin in human samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, the kit provides sensitive and reproducible quantification of betacellulin across a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid biological samples, supporting research into this growth factor's role in cell proliferation, differentiation, and pancreatic beta-cell biology.

The workflow follows a standard sandwich ELISA protocol in which capture antibody is pre-coated onto the plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells and incubated, followed by a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate. Signal is generated with a TMB substrate, the reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reagents are shipped on ice packs, with components to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The kit is intended for research use only.
