Human Betacellulin (bTC) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Human Betacellulin (bTC) ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of bTC in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and cell lysates, supporting studies in diabetes, oncology, wound-healing, and regenerative medicine.

Betacellulin is a roughly 9 kDa member of the epidermal growth factor (EGF) family. It signals through EGFR (ErbB-1) and ErbB-4 receptor tyrosine kinases and has been implicated in epithelial regeneration, neuronal differentiation, and pancreatic beta-cell proliferation.

The kit is configured for 96-well plate workflows and includes pre-coated wells, standards, detection antibodies, and substrate in individual vials. Capture antibodies are human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against related EGF-family ligands in validation studies. Reconstituted reagents should be stored refrigerated between runs, protected from light, and the lot-specific insert consulted for exact temperature, shelf life, and recommended sample volume.
