Assay Genie's Indirect - Biotin ELISA supports quantitative measurement of autoantibodies directed against the human beta-1 adrenergic receptor, biomarkers investigated in idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy, Chagas heart disease, and other autoimmune-mediated cardiac disorders. The indirect biotinylated format pairs a coated receptor-peptide plate with a biotinylated anti-human IgG detection antibody, allowing researchers to profile autoantibody titres across patient cohorts. Each kit is supplied with pre-coated microplate wells, calibration standards, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and TMB substrate; unopened components should be stored refrigerated. The capture reagent is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity reported against the beta-2 adrenergic receptor or unrelated GPCR autoantibody targets, supporting biomarker stratification studies.
