Human Beta-thromboglobulin (Beta-TG) ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of beta-thromboglobulin in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports research into platelet activation, blood clotting, and thrombotic conditions. Beta-thromboglobulin is a protein stored in the alpha-granules of platelets and released in large amounts upon platelet activation, with abnormal levels linked to various cardiovascular and thrombotic disorders.

The assay delivers a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 11.2 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and inter-assay CV of 8.5%. Detection is performed using an ELISA-based method, and the kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human beta-thromboglobulin.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, the kit was evaluated for linearity across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16). Linearity ranges were 89-116% for serum, 85-113% for EDTA plasma, and 83-118% for heparin plasma. Recovery averaged 98% for serum (range 92-104%) and 100% for plasma (range 94-106%).
