Human Beta-microseminoprotein (MSMB) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Beta-microseminoprotein (MSMB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay measures natural and recombinant human Beta-microseminoprotein with a stated detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.082 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.0% and inter-assay CV is 11.3%.

Linearity in serum spans 92–104% at a 1:2 dilution down to 89–99% at 1:16, with EDTA plasma at 91–116% and heparin plasma at 103–116% across the same dilutions. Recovery is reported as 94% for serum (range 88–100%) and 96% for plasma (range 90–102%). MSMB is a secreted homodimer (UniProt P08118) linked to prostate health and susceptibility to hereditary prostate cancer, making this kit relevant to research into prostate cancer risk and progression.
