Human Beta-mannosidase (MANBA) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables accurate quantification of beta-mannosidase levels in human samples. Beta-mannosidase, encoded by the MANBA gene, is a lysosomal exoglycosidase that cleaves the single beta-linked mannose residue from the non-reducing end of all N-linked glycoprotein oligosaccharides, making it a valuable biomarker for investigating lysosomal storage disorders and related metabolic conditions.

The kit is intended for research use only and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Beta-mannosidase. Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.401 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.1% and inter-assay CV of 8.9%.

Linearity has been verified in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
