Human beta Lactamase ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA (double-antibody) kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human beta-lactamase. The analyte is also referenced by the alias LACTβ and is associated with UniProt entry P83111.

The colorimetric assay delivers a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kits are shipped on ice packs and stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The kit is intended for research use only.

Capture antibody is pre-coated onto the microplate. After sample and standard incubation, a biotin-labelled detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate development. The reaction is stopped and absorbance is read at 450 nm; target concentration is positively correlated with the OD450 value and is calculated from a standard curve.
