Human Beta-Gal/Beta-galactosidase ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantification of beta-galactosidase levels in human samples, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and supports research applications in cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, and biotechnology.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.188 mIU/mL with a measuring range of 0.313-20 mIU/mL. Unopened kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Manufacturer validation shows linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5 per matrix), with reported linearity ranges of 81-102% in serum, 82-101% in EDTA plasma, and 86-100% in heparin plasma. Reported recovery ranges are 96-103% in serum, 91-104% in EDTA plasma, and 91-99% in heparin plasma.

The procedure follows six main steps: reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
