Human beta-ENaC ELISA Kit (HUFI05498)

The beta-ENaC target (Epithelial Sodium Channel beta subunit, encoded by SCNN1B) is a membrane-bound ion channel subunit essential for sodium reabsorption across epithelia of the distal nephron, lung airway and colon. This Assay Genie kit enables quantitative measurement of human beta-ENaC in research samples, supporting studies of sodium homeostasis, blood pressure regulation, cystic fibrosis airway biology, Liddle's syndrome, and pseudohypoaldosteronism type I. The pre-coated microplate uses a human-specific capture antibody and a paired detection antibody for protein quantification. TMB substrate addition generates a measurable absorbance signal read on a standard plate reader. Each reaction well uses a small 100 uL sample volume, practical for limited clinical specimens and cohort comparisons. Reagents should be stored frozen at -20 °C until first use; bring the sealed plate to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation on the strip wells. Reconstituted standards and working detection antibody remain stable through several freeze-thaw cycles when aliquoted into single use vials.
