Human Beta-casein (CSN2) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise and accurate measurement of beta-casein (CSN2) levels in human biological samples such as serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is reactive with human samples and is suited to cell biology research, where the target is known to play an important role in the determination of the surface properties of the casein micelles.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.056ng/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 9.1%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and the recovery in serum is reported at 94% (range 88-100%) while recovery in plasma is 96% (range 90-102%). The assay demonstrates specificity for natural and recombinant human Beta-casein.
