Human Beta-arrestin-2 (ARRB2) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Beta-arrestin-2 (ARRB2), with human reactivity. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and recognizes both natural and recombinant human Beta-arrestin-2. Reported detection range is 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.5%, and inter-assay CV of 10.8%. Recovery in serum averages 109% (range 103–115%) and in plasma averages 111% (range 105–117%). Listed synonyms are Arrestin beta-2, Non-visual arrestin-3, ARB2, and ARR2. For research use only.

Beta-arrestin-2 regulates agonist-mediated G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling, mediating receptor desensitization and resensitization, and acts as an endocytic adapter and signaling scaffold for MAPK pathways (MAPK1/3, MAPK10) and AKT1. UniProt accession: P32121.
