Human beta 2-Glycoprotein 1 IgM/Beta2-GP1 Ab IgM ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides this sandwich ELISA, double antigen immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative determination of human beta-2-Glycoprotein 1 IgM (also referred to as beta2-GP1 Ab IgM) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The kit supports research into autoimmune conditions such as antiphospholipid syndrome, where elevated Beta-2 Glycoprotein 1 IgM levels have been linked to thrombosis and recurrent pregnancy loss. It is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics reported by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.781–50 ng/ml. Precision is stated as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. Spike-and-recovery was evaluated in serum (n=5) at 85–98% (average 90%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 87–102% (average 97%), and in UFH plasma (n=5) at 90–105% (average 99%). Linearity on serial dilutions ranged from 81% to 105% across serum, EDTA plasma, and UFH plasma samples. Reagents are stored at 4°C for 6 months.
