Human beta 2-Glycoprotein 1 IgA/Beta2-GP1 Ab IgA ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA (Double Antigen) immunoassay kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human beta2-GP1 Ab IgA (also referred to as Beta-2 Glycoprotein 1 IgA autoantibodies) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, and is intended for research use only. Beta2-GP1 IgA is an autoantibody of interest in autoimmune conditions such as antiphospholipid syndrome, lupus and related inflammatory disorders, where quantifying its levels can support studies of disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188ng/ml and an analytical range of 0.313-20ng/ml. Reproducibility is given as Intra-Assay CV<8% and Inter-Assay CV<10%. Spike-and-recovery performance in serum (n=5) was 87-98% (average 92%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 86-102% (average 95%), and in UFH plasma (n=5) 92-105% (average 98%). Linearity under serial dilution was 86-102% (1:2), 90-103% (1:4) and 94-105% (1:8) for serum; 82-101% (1:2), 83-100% (1:4) and 87-99% (1:8) for EDTA plasma; and 80-94% (1:2), 81-99% (1:4) and 83-99% (1:8) for UFH plasma. Kit components include a dismountable 8×12-strip ELISA microplate, a lyophilized standard, sample/standard dilution buffer, biotin-labeled antigen, antigen dilution buffer, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) with SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25X wash buffer and plate sealer, with most reagents stored at 4°C.

Reactivity is human, and the assay is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader following a 37°C incubation protocol. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months.
