Human Basic Salivary Proline Rich Protein 3/PRB3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich, double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie for the detection of human Basic Salivary Proline Rich Protein 3 (PRB3). The assay is colorimetric, read at 450 nm after TMB development, and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Storage is 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity in serum (n=5) was 93–102%, 90–103% and 93–104% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions; EDTA plasma (n=5) 84–100%, 84–100%, 82–101%; heparin plasma (n=5) 85–95%, 81–95%, 80–95%. Spike-recovery averages were 97% in serum, 94% in EDTA plasma and 100% in heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix).

The protocol includes a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotinylated detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-streptavidin (SABC) incubation, and TMB development for 10–20 minutes in the dark before stop solution is added and absorbance is read at 450 nm.
